1-Day Horsemanship

An immersive introduction to the art of riding.

This one-day experience is designed for those who take horsemanship to heart, whether you're a curious beginner or a seasoned equestrian. If you value well-trained horses, thoughtful instruction, and genuine partnership in the saddle, this is for you.

We don’t offer a typical trail ride. Instead, this is a hands-on, in-depth experience rooted in connection, learning, and classical horsemanship. If you're looking for a casual ride, this may not be the right fit — and that’s perfectly fine. What we offer is something different: a chance to ride with intention, engage more deeply, and connect meaningfully with the horse.

We begin with an introduction to the Peruvian Paso — a breed celebrated for its incredibly smooth gait and exceptional sensitivity. You’ll learn what makes this horse unique, both in how it moves and how it responds to subtle, thoughtful cues from the rider.

From there, we explore the fundamentals of our riding approach, grounded in classical equitation. You’ll learn to ride with your seat, apply subtle aids, and maintain light, effective contact through the reins. We also introduce the basics of collection — understanding how and why we support the horse in carrying itself with balance, engagement, and ease.

A live demonstration brings these principles to life, showing how clear, respectful communication through feel and presence leads to softness, willingness, and expression in the horse.

Part of the day is dedicated to groundwork and preparation, followed by time in the saddle — riding in a way that prioritises clarity, connection, and the well-being of the horse.

This isn’t about being a passive passenger. It’s about becoming a more thoughtful, aware, and balanced rider. We take time to explain the why behind every movement and every cue, helping you develop a deeper understanding and feel.

Whether you’re just beginning your journey or refining years of experience, this is a day to inspire, inform, and connect you to the essence of good horsemanship — and the beauty that comes with it.
